In our 2015 Summer Theater & Writing Camp with the American Repertory Theater, middle school students imagine what will the world look like 60 billion years after 2015, where animals have taken over the world and humans have all been devoured by rebellious animals eager for fame and power.
From the democratic country of Zoomerica to pretentious New Hollywood, furry and scaly citizens have abolished human-run democracy and adopted animocracy, a new system of government run entirely by animals that still somehow strangely mirrors today’s society.
